I'm an active woman who enjoys traveling, scuba diving, horseback riding, photography, cooking, and philanthropy.
I'm primarily retired. I continue to be the pro-bono president of a non-profit foundation. Thanks to covid, I finished writing a cookbook comprised of 4 generations of family recipes. I'm also a PADI Divemaster and help with scuba classes on the weekends, when needed.
I grew up in La Canada-Flintridge, California, and moved to TN in 2001. I've been in the worlds of commercial construction, real estate, fitness instruction, and a restaurateur. At this point in my life, it's most important to give back. I've been abundantly blessed, so it's my turn to shine the light!
I have been widowed since 2010. I know how to take care of myself, my house, and my finances. I prefer to relax at home, mowing the lawn, watching football, a good movie, reading a book, or taking a dip in the pool. I am equally as comfortable going to a casual dinner with friends, donning the little black dress for a fancy evening, or curling up on the couch with a bag of popcorn & a bottle of champagne! (There's a story there.)
I take every opportunity to go scuba diving or travel to a new place, near or far. I have a passport that needs to be filled with foreign stamps! I love a good road trip when the spirit moves me.
My friends would describe me as someone who will show up when you're in the trenches. I will have your back, front, and flanks at all times! I can go years without speaking to some of my closest allies, but I am able to pick up as if no time has passed. I'm fiercely loyal to my family and friends, who try to keep me in check. lol
