I Would Describe Myself As

I am an advocate and peer support counselor for the homeless, mental illness and folks in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. I also have a very large family. I became a widow almost 5 years ago and miss holding hands and snuggling with a significant other. I would like to find a companion who shares similar interests and who’s willing to spend the time for us to get to know one another. Love takes time to grow if it’s meant to be. I’m not interested in meeting someone who likes to throw the “love” word around before getting to know each other’s strengths and weaknesses. I’m not in a rush to commit to a relationship with someone before we get to know each other. If we only decide to date then that’s acceptable also. Trying to cut to the nitty gritty here. I’ve had a couple bad experiences and would like to avoid a repeat. I’m feeling positive that there’s someone out there and that we can be happy!
