Retired Surgical Nurse & USAF many years serving. 3 great kids grown and 8 grandkids all over 25 now, college educated and great careers now. Lost my husband , a USAF fighter pilot in 89. Hard on us all, very painful, but together we were a family still, my priority was my kids, supporting them totally in education, meeting there needs especially love .very challenging a lot at times alone but I had God by my side always, I believe that totally now because my life was truely blessed even then and now too .
I retired finally In 2017, and enjoyed every minute of my life thus far and decisions made even ones that came unexpectedly too some sad, some tough, some challenging at times because its taught me about who and what is possible with patients loving life as it comes and there a right time for everything .
I acheived so much in life, seen the world in the military in the states and overseas too , Met so many different people, learned culturtures, languages( a bit ) every where I was stationed . Tasted great foods there too . Can’t say I loved cold places we lived not fond of nasty snow nor season changing thing . Love the heat and hot sunshine places with beautiful beaches, sunset & sunrises, palm trees too So why am I in Ohio now lol, up from Florida the last 25 yrs suffering here not being country nor a liberal at all you ask me ? My Mom… dying why to care for her till the day came . I loved her that much..why . Besides, my family found there families here too and I bought my house to care for all of them ( now empty except for me, my pup TRIGG, and my daughter going through a divorce @ 44 yrs old . Glad to have her here it’s not empty now truthfully!!! Cheating doesn’t fly in our family, not even once, vows are serious ! Each one point blank,
I was on a dating sight once before a while back and so shocked at disrespectful men looking for one thing only and not shy asking right away first thing on their list . Horrified you bet I was . Bald, dirty, drugs, alchoholics, criminals with records, farmer, hunters, uneducated, vulgar talking, divorced a few times too, Younger guys too always looking for a cougar…where are all the good serious men looking who have morals, respect for women, and themselfs too to represent themselves on line decently in pictures when looking seriously at least brushing their teeth if they have any , combing their hair with clean cloths on . Who wants to see their dog, or cat ??? Doesnt impress me at all !! Lying, cheating on thier wives, Not anything ida even have coffee with in public . Refuse to call you on your home phone too to talk like a decent man would do, if really interested youda think, if not hiding anything…Right ??? So I gave up a while back, guess I’m use to military special kind of men, proffesionals like doctors which I’ve work with . Manners and respect and pride for self and how they present themselves to others . A good caring heart, compassionate, understanding, faithful, loving, happy in life . Secure financially, as am I . Becoming my good friend I enjoy being around sharing my time with . Above anything else . Jealousy is out completely I have no time for such nonsense ever . I’m no dog on leash either . No one owns me . I need room to grow and space to do in sometimes alone, My independence came along because it had too to raise my kids alone and can’t change it now I’ve had a lot of responsibilities doing it alone for years, not complaining nor regrets now ! I’m not the wicked witch of the west either but sweet loving happy kind lady with a very good heart, very truthful and will never lie so very trust worthy they say often about me ! Never get mad ever, wasting my energy on that . Everything passes anyway doesn’t it, if it don’t just turn and walk away from friction of any kind to keep your mind.
