This is really difficult. We are expected to blow our own horn but walk a fine line not to appear boastful or proud. So here it goes. I'm a sweet person and love to have fun. I have a good sense of humor and like adventure. I enjoy the movies or watching some television. I am not however a couch potato. The nicer you treat me the better I will treat you. I like to feel appreciated as I am sure you do. It's nice to receive flowers, little gifts or cards for no reason.
At this stage in my life I would like to spend some time traveling. I have been to Europe and would love to return. My passport is still functional. There are so many places in the US I haven't seen and I have many places on my Bucket list. The glass walkway over the Grand Canyon is in the top ten on my list. We live in an amazing part of the globe and I would enjoy touring it.
I would love to have a man who listens. What I say should be important and visa versa. If we are blessed enough to find someone to dance the second half of our lives with, we need to communicate. Failure in understanding is what ruins an otherwise great relationship.
I do need to state I can't be in your home if you have a CAT, I am deathly allergic. I had to capitalize cat because I am still receiving inquiries from cat owners. I don't think anyone would knowing want me to be hospitalized. If you have any questions at this point just ask I am very honest.
If you are 20 pounds or more overweight please do something to better your health, you won't be hearing from me. I see men with similar statements and it is fair to say so if, "more to love" is not your choice, it is not mine. I have worked very hard to keep myself looking good and it's not easy when you grow older so I feel I deserve someone who works as hard on his appearance as I do. I don't consider that vanity I see it as health conscious.
I am truthful, loyal and tolerant, neat and fun, I don't cheat or have a roving eye. You will be the one my eyes will desire to gaze on, and occasionally Johnny Depp. Just a little levity I don't want to seem maudlin.
If you have a temper and are prone to name calling and or physical violence speak to someone else, I wish to be cherished, loved and respected not berated. I'm a gem not a rock. I understand people become angered at times and that is normal, and letting off steam in a positive way is healthy, but if you feel the need to abuse someone emotionally you will have to find her somewhere else because I will not tolerate that kind of behavior. I deserve better.
I don't speak to previous relationships or my ex-husband unless severely necessary so I expect you to not do the same. Move on...those relationships failed for a reason. They take time away from us and is destructive behavior. I was married only once at the age of nineteen and have been divorced for almost three years now. I am looking for my last true love. I know you're out there my darling. I won't settle, I am waiting for the my good Lord to bring you into my life.
