I Would Describe Myself As

I'm a very spiritual person, but not religious. I love people. Your skin color, body type, socioeconomic status - none of that determines how I feel about or react to a person. I am far more concerned about one's character. I've been widowed nearly 21 months, but it still feels like yesterday. I know that he would not want me to spend the rest of days in mourning. This is a step toward accepting my "new normal. " I am not seeking someone to replace my husband; he's irreplaceable. However, I am seeking someone with his loving and nurturing personality. We were a great match. Unfortunately, we met late in life, and were blessed to be together for 16.5 short, but glorious years. We enjoyed attending church, exploring beaches,the countryside, and backroads. We also like going to different restaurants. I love contemporary and Black gospel music. I also like Zydeco music and dancing, as well as country music.I love visiting historic sites, or just sitting quietly, enjoying companionable togetherness. I'm not an invalid, but due to some serious back pain, I have limited physical activity. Most of my physical exercise is done seated.
