Me describiría a mi mismo como

I am a serious, yet fun-loving person. I like to laugh at your antics and at myself when it happens that I do something so dumb it's funny. I like to walk & talk, hold hands & share PDA, public & private. I like almost all music 60's to 80's but no RAP or heavy metal. I like cooking & going out to eat in most restaurants. I like car trips, short & longer trips, going places or going nowhere. I like dancing, in clubs or at home. I like sharing the shower. I like to be courted & I like to be romanced as well as romancing him. And, just so you know, I am a survivor because I have successfully fought off 6 different kinds of cancer, 1 metastic & 5 of them potentially life threatening. I believe in kicking butt & taking names when it comes to serious illness. My Oncologist says that's probably why I'm alive & well right now when he would not have expected me to be alive now. Just about anyone else would have died by now. I refuse to go out without a fight & I want all the fun, laughs & praises to God available beforehand. I plan to live 20-25 more years at the minimum and my doctor says he believes I will. I believe in the healing power of prayer & God's grace. I want my man to share that belief. I am a veteran of 9 years in the US Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard. I separated in 1991 after my 2nd of 6 cancer diagnoses. I have beat all 6 and 2 of them deadly to over 95% of the people diagnosed and owe it to the power of healing prayer & excellent doctors. The last one was Stage 4 (the worst) & over 95% die between 6 months and 2 years if under Stage 2. Stage 4 patients usually don't live beyond 6 months. It's been over 2 years and my last CT shows no sign of regrowth where God & chemotherapy took out the tumors surgery couldn't reach. Every doctor I have now wonders how I survived it. So, on to other things. I am not in the dating site for any 1-night stands. If that is your hope, please stop now & move on because when I go to the marriage bed of the next man on my life, I will be an unopened gift to him of a chaste wife between my late husband and the man I'll spend the remaining 20-25 years with. I am a 1-man woman and I want the same commitment from him to me. I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies. This profile will cover a lot of them, the rest remain discovery areas as we get to know one another.

¿Qué estás buscando?

Honesty is foremost. A man must be his word. A handshake is as good as a contract. If he lies to me, how can I trust him with my life. He must also be non-violent in the home. I will not tolerate abuse. Disagreements are one thing, hurting is entirely another & wrong. Humor and Faith are high in importance to me. Let's have fun, but let's stay close to God also. Cleanliness is also important to me. Monogamy and being free from STDs is a top priority. HIV/AIDs is a no-go for me. I can deal with cancer, but don't bring me something I can't wash off. I love fiercely and passionately, don't make me regret it by bringing me a disease that could be avoided, especially with honesty.
