As we continue life’s journey, the “paths” which we choose to travel down are indicative of our wants, needs, desires, and dreams ~ not only mine, but yours as well. The manifestation of these elements can be rather elusive, as we have both discovered. Close and almost doesn’t count ~ neither do lost opportunities or missed occasions. We are here now, at the same place and at the same time. Will serendipity prevail and put us on the same path? Life is not a sure thing. It doesn’t come pre-scripted in an information packet. Time moves quickly, and at this point in our lives, time is a most precious resource. The past has been incredible for me ~ hopefully, the future will bring
an abundance of equally fulfilling life-events.I am a truly unique person, molded by the values ingrained in me from growing up in the fifties and sixties. I have made the transformation from a “bad boy” into a solid “good man”, and did it quite well ~ going from being a high school drop out to having three incredible children graduate from Ivy League universities. Along the way intertwined with everything else, I participated in fighting a war, was an employee for the same company for 37 years, and was married to the same girl for forty years.My interests are many and varied, but would include; the ocean: a cabin in the mountains: home remodeling projects: Classic car restoration: writing short stories: travel, especially road trips: I thrive on spontaneity. We may end up at a car show, rodeo, flea market, or even drive to the ocean or mountains.About the one I am looking for…
Someone interesting. If I am really fortunate and the stars are in the correct alignment, it will be you. You are really cute, intelligent, extremely nice and would always be my first pick in any selection process. A best friend to share the experience of walking on the beach at sunrise, or sunset ~ the one I would want to spend time with in a north Georgia mountain cabin. I don’t have a list of desirable attributes to define who, or what I might be looking for. The magic of mutual attraction ~ the only thing ultimately that counts. Let’s communicate to get to know each other; schedule a time and place to meet for dinner, and take it from there. It may be what both of us are looking for ~ or it may not.
