I Would Describe Myself As

Served as a public relations specialist within both government and private industry. The highlight of my professional career was serving as a public affairs officer for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) during Project Apollo: The U.S. Manned Lunar Landing Program in the 1960s and 1970s. This service afforded me opportunities that were unimaginable to me at the time. Over the years, whenever I was asked what was it like working in that remarkable program, I would often relate stories about some of the more interesting events that occurred to me during that time. After relating these events, it was always suggested that I should write a book about it. Well, I finally did. I wrote and had published a short story titled, "NASA, Behind-the-Scenes Snippets," It is currently available through Amazon, Kindle, and other national literary outlets. It is also available in audio format. If any zoosk members are interested in reading my short story, I will be happy to send you a free digital copy of it. Simply provide your email address and I will attach a copy. Now that I am retired, I still occasionally write news and feature articles, but not so frequently. I find that I now spend a lot of time - entirely too much time - enjoying my computer. On a sad note, I lost my beautiful wife of 49 years in 2015. I am doing my best, however, to move forward. Currently doing intermittent work with FEMA during national disasters.
