Hi, I hope this site finds everyone their “ person”. That my wish, too. My profile photo was taken last month.
I’m a happy, healthy, active 73 y.o. Retired RN. After 45 yrs of a very rewarding career, I now tutor nursing college students… giving back to a profession that I loved.
I have a wonderful family, 2 adult married sons, 2 precious grandsons and a 1 yr old mini Poodle named Cooper. Cooper and I enjoy long walks, playing fetch, and scouting nature. Without Cooper, I enjoy the performing arts, museums, exploring new areas, the beach, and occasionally dining out. My favorite food would be Maine Lobster but I love most seafood. I’m a pretty good cook, (I’ve been told) and enjoy entertaining small dinner guests.
My favorite TV programs… are usually on PBS, documentaries, HGTV (Decorating is an interest of mine), and watching a good flick on Netflix.
I’ve been widowed 18 yrs… never expected to be single but we never expected cancer either. Life happens and goes on.
I consider myself to be very genuine and open, kind, and easy going. I’ve been blessed to have had a mostly happy life and honestly, feel I have no negative baggage. I had a very happy childhood and marriage for which I’m grateful. I’ve never lived with anyone since I lost my husband… so I’m pretty independent but miss having a life partner to share things with. I tend to be attracted to positive and friendly types… family-oriented men who love being a Dad or Poppa and men who true gentlemen.
Deal breakers for me are smokers and I’ll be very honest… I am not a Trump fan so if you worship the guy, we’re not likely a compatible match.
