Newly widowed after being his caretaker for years, I feel listless and a-drift now that he is gone. Our 16 year marriage was one of companionship and blending together our nearly-grown children, our differing politics and our ever-lasting duel over which was best---country western music or classic rock? My big house seems empty and altho I enjoy my own company and do not feel lonely when I am alone, i would like to strike up a correspondence with a like-minded, mature man with whom I could share a laugh, a tear or just reminisce with about our former 'Glory Days', whatever they might be! I am weight-to-height proportionate, still sport some pretty great legs, salt and pepper hair (heavy on the pepper), good skin, laugh lines and a zany sense of the ridiculous; I love of all of God's creations----except the chigger-bug. I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading and writing, cruising, collecting various assorted and sundry items, and my family. If you are willing to take a chance on friendship and a possible development into something more, give me a jingle....who knows? IT...COULD...WORK!
