Grey/silver hair? Yes, and I earned every one of them and proud of it!! That doesn't mean that I am not ready for new and exciting experiences. I love to travel and have been to almost every American state, Florida many times, as well as the Caribbean. European trips to Italy, Spain, Germany and Austria. So many more countries to visit...so many places to explore. I like to travel, but I also love coming home to Canada. I have been to every province except Newfoundland. Perhaps one day. I enjoy cooking, a good glass of wine with good conversation and much laughter.
I spend as much time as I can with my grandchildren and enjoy their company and know that they have fun with their grandmother as well.
I volunteer in my community and enjoy meeting new people as I settle in this new home. People are friendly and warm, but I'm looking for a friend to share activities with. I love water activities: boating, swimming, even fishing (but I don't unhook or fillet). Sorry fellas.
I don't golf, but I love to walk nature trails and do this regularly throughout the winter months. I'm not afraid of the cold or snow, but actually embrace the beauty of Canadian winters. Would love to find somebody else who enjoys getting out there, maybe snowshoeing or cross country skiing.
Hot chocolate, warm fire and a companion by my side after these outings is what I miss.Love classical music, big band (weird, but that's me), Mark Knoffler, Van Morrison.Spring is around the corner. Do you remember the excitement of watching the snow melt, trees beginning to blossom and the birds returning.
