Elegant woman, well traveled, eager to meet her male counterpart. I have always been intellectually alert and physically active to enjoy the pleasures of both.I am widowed after a successful marriage and know that' two are better than one'. Joys are deepened when love is shared and sad moments are cushioned by loving words and a gentle touch. Music(especially opera) plays a very important part in my life as do jazz,theater,ballet and walking hand in the part or in the country. I love the hectic life of the city yet appreciate the quiet,greenery and sounds of nature near a lake or in the woods. I am lucky to have a house in the country which I would love to share. I miss the companionship of a special life partner and there is room in my heart for the right 'intruder' who identifies with these sentiments. There is a lot more to know about me so just ask?
I am athletic .I play tennis, a novice level of golf a(the jury is still out on my prospects) and go to the gym three or four days a week.
I had a long and successful career in mental health care administration and now volunteer work for several opera foundations, the NY Philharmonic and teach English as a second language.
I have three wonderful grandchildren that I dote on and participate actively in their lives.
I love to travel and have visited many countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia but there is a lot more world to see and I would love to travel a great deal more with the right companion.
The man I would like to meet will win my heart with his intelligence, sensitivity and charm. He will have interests and passions that he will want me to share. Hopefully he will love to be in love,have a keen sense of humor, romance, sensitivity and sentimentality,love to touch, kiss and embrace for nothing is as wonderful as a stong,tight hug. . He will be my partner, confident,best friend and lover and I will certainly be his.
