I became a widower over a year ago when I lost my wife of 62 years. I now live with my single daughter but I also have a married daughter whose married daughter just gave birth to my Great-Granddaughter.I also have marrie son wit two young young sons and his family lives in North Carolina. I was born in Tiffin, Ohio and finished high school there and then moved to Glendale, California. I graduated from Occidental College ln LA, California. I was then drafted into the Army in Dec 1954.I had basic training in California and Missouri and advanced tratning in Oklahoma. I was then sent overseas to Dachau, Germany. I was released In Nov 1956. That service paid for my Masters degree at USC IN LA, in my last semester my roommate asked me to double-date with him to take the younger sister off his hands. After 4 dates I asked the sister To marry me and she was a bit confused because she had just broken up with someone else so I waited two more dates and then she said yes.
