Loyalty is at the top of my list, with compassion & empathy close behind. I am very curious & enjoy lively conversation. I'm from Silicon Valley where I was surrounded by engineers, so more non-verbal men? No thanks! I would like companionship, someone with whom to share common interests.
To switch gears for a moment, I, like I believe thinking, feeling being, have come through some difficult & painful times. I've emerged, however, only to find I learned more about myself than before the trials & challenges. I'm not bitter...I'm better.
One way I found that helped me heal was to become a caregiver - to help those less fortunate than I to live as full a life as possible while remaining in their home. I own my own small caregiving company that was just getting off the ground when COVID-19 hit. But I'm optimistic & will re-start when possible. My two other careers were working as an Executive Assistant to well-known company CEOs & presidents, as well as an English teacher to young adults who were "on their last legs," so to speak.
I was raised in Dallas, but spent summers in CA. I couldn't wait to graduate HS & get back to my Golden State. I did just that, via Wassington State where my 1st husband and I spent 2.5 yrs. After that, we finally moved to No Cal. There's just too much in between then & now, & I don't want to bore anyone to tears!
I'll wrap this up by saying that I never dreamed I'd be doing this at any time, much less at this stage of my life. But I find I have so much left to offer someone that it's a shame to sit at home alone at night staring at a book or a movie when I'd really rather be in the company of a kind, understanding & affectionate man. There...I've said it. Now it's your turn!
