I'm educated, intelligent, funny, adventurous , caring, loyal, and loving. I'm an open book, so ask me.
Who am i looking for? Physically, I'm attracted to a man with gray hair and is clean-shaven. Physicality is not a priority, though. I want a man who is caring, mushy, funny, intelligent, and happy by himself, but knows that together is better. A man who loves the Lord.
Now (November 23) that the evenings are getting longer and the nights cooler, my mind goes to thoughts of having a significant other to snuggle up with in a warm quilt while we watch a classic movie, an old western,or a rousing football game. Or maybe just hold each other, listening to soft music and talking of good times we've had or planning good times to come.
I own my home and my car and have a comfortable income, so when I find my special someone, I will want him for himself and not for what he has. I can cook, but it's not my favorite activity... there's a story with that. I do like home cooked meals.
I also enjoy eating out of almost any kind. My favorite places are hole in the wall diners and anyplace that has great cheeseburgers.
I moved here from Alaska in 2018. I miss the cool summers, fishing and getting in the boat to go to town. The last 3 winters, we did the snowbird thing down here. I enjoyed the drive from Prince Rupert, Canada, down to Henderson.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. Left California at 26 and then enjoyed living in backwoods, Arkansas. There, I learned al about country living, played bass and sang in a country band, then went to college and got a degree in sociology. I moved around the US working as a social worker for different states and on Indian Reservations. Then, I did another year of college and became a special education teacher in Texas, then Alaska. I've always been drawn to the underdogs and have a passion for helping.
I rarely exercise, though I do some stretching to help alleviate arthritis stiffness. If I had someone to go with, I would use my free gym membership with a partner.
I've been in Henderson and retired since 2018. I was widowed in 2020, and now I'm looking for my last love to share the final chapters in my book of life. could it be with you?
