I lost my wife a year and a half ago. I am a single father of a lovely 13 year-old girl. I work at an office, but my main interest is theatre. I've act, direct, and write plays on the community level. I am looking to put my toe in the water. I know I want to meet someone but being married for 17 years I am a little out of practice to dating in the 21st century. I like the usual things, food, movies, music,dancing, and hiking. I am not a sports fan but I'm not anti sports either. I like to cook, and would actually like to learn more about cooking. I find it can be festive and gratifying especially when what you made tastes good and other people love it. I like to do things, however I must admit I am a real homebody. I would like to visit different places in the country. I've been through a lot of states, had extended stays in a lot of states. But I'd like to look at a map someday, pick a small town somewhere and just check it out.
