Moved to Iowa from Chicago for family reasons. Very homesick for my friends so I need to make some new ones! I am a retired social worker and still volunteer a lot. My favorite is Safe Families for Children. I like jazz, blues, R&B, gospel, the Beatles, Al Jarreau, George Benson, Tony Bennet duets. Not even a little bit country. I like to cook for people and entertain in my home. I like to create an atmosphere where great conversations can happen. My church is very important to me. Being a believer is central to my life. my perspectives and my value system. I am not super athletic but I do like to walk. I attend my four grandchildren's sporting events not because I like the sports but because I love them. I like theater, concerts especially ones outside.
