I’ve been widowed for 7 years. Boy the dating scene has changed!

I consider myself ‘normal”. By that I mean, I am content with my life. I love my home (lived here 19 years), I love my job, I have great friends and wonderful kids.

I enjoy my life but realize that at any gathering, there is something odd, I typically am the only one there without a partner!

And there are things that I would like to share with someone special. Things as simple as enjoying a cup of coffee early in the morning on the back porch listening to the songbirds.
Or a beautiful song, or the laughter of a grandchild.

Then there is the issue of sharing personal things, that require a trusted partner to listen to.

It would be nice to plan a weekend outing or activity on a regular basis with someone that I enjoyed being with.
