I am Canadian, born in Ottawa, brought up in Winnipeg and now living in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. I came out here in 1977. I was an engineer, working initially as a project manager on hydro electric construction projects and then ended up in management of an engineering company. I worked in many places in Canada-including the north where there is nothing but miles and miles of miles and miles!!! We started a company here to sell high end aluminum and titanium wheelchairs manufactured in California. My son is disabled so we called this company ScottsDad Wheelchairs. After retiring I started writing fiction and have published two: Killer Gold and Killer Space (see Amazon Books). I have two more in the mill and some children’s Magic Magic stories. Much fun! I spend my time reading, writing and playing duplicate bridge.
Our family was a camping holiday family but we also travelled internationally. I am in reasonable health and financially sound.
The house that I bought in 1977 is called a Raised Ranch, something like a three bedroom bungalow on the upper level. I have a two bedroom suite on the lower level and my daughter Colette and her family live upstairs.
My wife Gwen died in 2007 of cancer. I have had a few girlfriends since including one for eleven years. I like the contribution that women make to my life. I admit that I am a bit lonely from time to time. Hopefully you live close enough that we can get to know each other by getting together to talk.
