I've been in public education since I was 22 years old. I was a teacher for 20 years and was a library media specialist in the same school for 23 years. I retired in 2011 after 43 years. I decided to teach after I coached baseball and worked with kids for a period when I was younger.
I am very outgoing, tend to meet people easily and without apprehension. My confidence level is high and my expectations, higher. Humor is my best attribute. It comes very easily to me and I can usually make people laugh or at least lift their spirits. 
Most everyone I meet thinks I'm younger than my age. I don't take this for granted, I work at being as young as possible, physically, mentally and emotionally. I try to look my best every day, with regards to clothes and general appearance. Being neat, clean, healthy and appropriately dressed is very important to me. Since I still feel and act young, I know it will transfer to others that I meet.
I would like to meet someone who is feminine, enjoys being a woman in appearance and demeanor. I'm looking for a woman who is attractive, cares about how she looks and is emotionally stable with at least a "common sense" intelligence. Someone who is not afraid to express her innermost feelings and desires would be an asset to our relationship.
A well-proportioned, slender, slim, or fit figure would be nice as well as optimism about life and the future.
Being 5' 6" tall has never been a problem for me, but I'm sure it is for some women. It doesn't bother or intimidate me if a woman is taller than me. I want a woman I can look up to whether shorter or taller.
Remember: It is better to have loved a short man, than never to have loved "atall"
