I Would Describe Myself As

I wish I could thrill you all with tales of a very interesting life, but I’m just an average 75 yo gal who just lives an average life. I am a retired nurse. I am a widow who lost her husband 5 yrs ago. I like to garden and cook. I like romantic movies and soft rock music. After growing up and living in the Chicago area, moving to these mountains 20 yrs ago has been a second life for me. Driving along the Parkway and stopping at vistas to take in the view, brings me closer to God. Visiting small towns here in the mountains, sampling local cuisine, wine tasting and shopping for antiques, is a lot of fun. I’m taking line dancing classes at the Senior Center in Marion. I really enjoy that and it is great exercise and gets your heart pumping.
I would like to find a man who likes to travel and explore God’s creation with me. Someone who is proud of the way he looks. Wears a genuine smile and not afraid to use humor. I like to laugh and have a good time, whether at home or on the move. Just sitting on the deck with someone having a glass of wine and just talking.  Don’t get me wrong, I do like to go out for dinner or to a concert. I would even love to go fishing. I can bait my own hook without going ‘yeww’.
I am tired of being alone. I miss cuddling since my husband passed. I am a romantic woman and not aggressive in any way. I’m not shy about holding hands or hugging in public. I believe trust and honesty is very important to develop a lasting relationship. I am a Christian woman and believes that God will direct me and that special someone down the right road to happiness.
