I happen to be in very good health. Enjoy hiking, day trips, trying new things. I volunteer with Master Gardeners, Shasta College, perform multiple "Atta Boys" for other less fortunate Seniors in my Adult community.
Very happily married for 61 years til Dementia stepped in. Alone now, I find I am very lonely, despite being quite active in my community. I miss opening doors for my lady. I miss sharing funny stories. I miss flirting with her. I want to be able to say "Let's get in the car and just drive somewhere. See where we end up!
I would enjoy meeting a "lady" with similar desires. I am financially secure, own my home, can afford to travel and look forward to meeting someone in a like situation. Don't need a beauty queen, but wouldn't knock it if I met one. I would, however, like to meet someone who is physically able to hike a few hills, is somewhat careful about diet, isn't a smoker. I enjoy a cocktail on occasion and would like to share one with you.
I am quite comfortable with who I am, having lived in this body for 82 years. It has treated me very well and I am shooting for another 15 or so...C'mon, it's possible!
I start my day with exercise and meditate every morning as well.
As for religion, I do not practice any particular one. I
find I am more of an Agnostic but I do have a great respect for "Mother Earth".
I, having been alone for a long time, have become a fairly good cook. Some of my specialty desserts are scrumptious and enjoyed by all who partake of them. I pride myself on keeping a very clean house (With a goodly number of houseplants).
Politically speaking, I am very much in the middle of the road as I find fault with both of the extremes. I was a Marine and still love, respect, stand and salute my flag.
I enjoy reading, gardening, public speaking, meeting new people, volunteering, day tripping, eating at new restaurants, hanging out with friends at home. (Mine or theirs.) I enjoy playing cards or board games.
I would like to begin with finding a friend that may grow into my reaching for your hand, or you offering it, and walking down the lane
together. If you find some

and believe in happiness, then give it a go! I figure the worst that can happen is to share a cup of luke-warm coffee. Right?
