I'm a homebody, prefer jeans and a t-shirt sans make-up. But I am fairly new to the area moving here from Michigan, so I want to see and do everything North Carolina has to offer.I want to see the mountains and the ocean, love museums, art galleries, flea markets. Love browsing used building materials, love to repurpose an item or maybe I'd find that old glass door knob I've been wanting for my bathroom.
I'm a red- head under all that white hair and have the temperament you might expect. I'm honest, loyal, kind, loving and very motherly as my daughter says. I miss being in love, holding hands while we share a quiet walk and share the day's events. I'm retired, but never bored, though I do get lonely. I listen to pop music prefer rock over country and never rap. I'm getting old I'm am often surprised when on Friday nights I get the newest songs for the week through my Apple Music and I'll be busy painting up on a step ladder when a rap song comes on, I am often shocked by what I am hearing, knowing the target audience for this type of music. I wonder where their morals have gone and their lack of respect doesn't surprise me. Ok that's today's rant.
This is really the hard part, talking about me. My daughter lives here now, we are very close. You must love dogs. No smokers and only social drinkers. I feel like I am just waking up from a dream, I ready to face the next chapter. I want some one who lives just a few miles away, someone who will call and say lets go here or there. I'm not photogenic, not a raving beauty, never been this old or weighted so much before, but I have to believe there is still some one out there for me. Do you like to cuddle and watch a movie? Sit outside on a summers night with an ice cold beer and look at the stars? Catnap in the sunshine in the middle of the afternoon? If so, let me know and perhaps we can get a real chat on the phone.

I care about you, the smile I see in your eyes, the strength in your hands when you wrap your arms around me. The unspoken strength and loyality in a committed relationship. Someone who loves with their whole heart, because that's how I'll be loving you. Someone who is strong and supportive, level headed who can take care of themselves, someone who wants to share all of life's every day things with someone they love, trust and respect.
