I Would Describe Myself As

I am happily retired from 28 years of teaching high school English and now have the time and energy for friendship, romance, intimacy, road trips, beach walks, great conversation, and comfortable silences. I am politically liberal, a lifelong learner, an avid reader of mysteries, a devoted mother, sister, relative, friend, and dog owner. I am content living alone, but I miss having a compatible partner who lives no further than a 30-45 minute drive from Hartford. That proximity is important to me.
