HELLO. I am here for the month of August. My purpose is to connect with others from many places for conversation and discovery. PLEASE CONTACT ME if that works for you. ~ We are all members of a club we never wanted to join, but we can support each other in friendship... The following is a 'short' version of my regular profile. A LITTLE ABOUT ME ... ~ l love to walk, talk, read and write. Words are among my favourite things. If you ask, I will send A-Z descriptors. ~ I am told I "think young". I relate easily to people of all ages, but except for some recent mobility challenges resulting from a past hiking injury, I resemble my 50-something friends more than my 70-something friends. ~ I love to learn and teach. As an empowerment counsellor and grief support worker I encourage self esteem through the use of positive sacred psychology. ~ Communication and connection is HUGE for me. I offer trust, respect and unconditional acceptance, and ask the same in return.
~ I believe in setting goals & making things happen. This is that. ~ I wish everyone luck, courage, tenacity, resolve in this sometimes daunting adventure,and the pleasure of enjoyable, enriching experiences along this winding & often bumpy road we travel. -Mareea
