Hi. Thanks for dropping by. I am happy to share information about me and who/what I am looking for. I was married once for 48 years, he died in 2017. I took my time to work through his death, gain my footing, define myself as a single woman, and determine how to move forward. I decided to start dating last year.

I have been in Arizona since I was two. I have lived primarily in Tucson but moved back and forth to the Phoenix area several times. I have a BS in education from the UofA and I worked on a master’s degree at ASU. My career focused on Human Resource Management, which was perfect for me. My roles were challenging, rewarding, never boring and I feel my contributions helped organizations achieve their objectives.

I am outgoing, friendly and gregarious. I like to laugh and find I can still laugh at myself as I try not to take myself too seriously. I have a positive outlook on life and express that in what I say and do. When I do "get down", I realize it is a temporary state and so I work through it. I am patient and understanding as I try to see things from the other person's perspective. When angry, I think through the situation before trying to address it. Once something is said, especially in anger, it can never be unsaid. A solid relationship is based on many factors of which trust and respect are cornerstones.

I am independent, financially secure, debt free, emotionally strong and in good health. I have no living children but when some very close friends had a baby girl, I “adopted” her as my granddaughter. I have two sisters who live in Tucson and I sincerely enjoy spending time with them. I live on five acres so I stay very busy working on projects, most DIY, but I know when I don’t have the skills and I need a professional. These activities keep me physically fit and humble, 😊.

I love to travel. I have gone on many ocean cruises and am now exploring river cruises. My sister and I bought an RV with a goal of traveling to all of the national parks, 25 so far. I just completed my first international trip. Ten days in Switzerland and 10 days in Italy with a group of 18 people, walking 5–6 miles a day. I swam in the Mediterranean Sea and ate gelato way too often. Now I want to go to other countries. I like to be active-pickleball, long walks, snorkeling, swimming, camping, and generally enjoying the outdoors. I used to host murder mystery dinners. My favorite genre for books, movies or plays is a good murder mystery. I like puzzles because I find putting all the pieces together to create a clear picture is fun and rewarding.

Many years ago, I recognized my need to grow spiritually. After lots of exploration, I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Through prayer and study, I have built a solid relationship with the Lord, learned much, grown in ways I never thought I could, and I have found joy and peace in my life. I respect other religions as my late husband was Catholic.

I am looking first for a friend, to do things with and enjoy each other's company. I am open to developing a deeper relationship after getting to know each other. I have dated men who want to have a physical relationship for pleasure, self-gratification, or some other reason besides building a loving, long-lasting relationship. So, if you are looking to hook-up (or whatever term you want to use), I am not the right woman for you.

I like an environment that is as drama-free as possible. I do not drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, use drugs, or engage in behaviors that I feel interfere with me being who I want to be. I am not politically inclined but I have opinions about a few issues.
