Dating and meeting potential partners is a problem as I have been separated for 2 1/2 years. Women do not want to risk seeing a man that is not divorced. To date I have agreed to keep my ex on my medical, dental and vision plans as well as other benefits because I still have a 12 and 14 year old we are co-parenting. Our agreement is we will move to divorce when we have found someone. She is presently in a 9 month relationship that looks as though this could be it for her. I am happy for her and now it is time for me to find someone. I am taking steps for me. I have not really done so up to this point due to my fairly heavy travel schedule and difficulty in answering "the question". Why aren't you divorced? About a year ago I decided to start dating and met someone who I asked out. On the first date I was not really prepared to answer that question and it may have looked like I lied or wasn't ready to move on. I am not a liar, player or scammer. I was just unprepared. Not so funny how men don't seem to care about a woman's status
