I am an intelligent, honest, well mannered, trusting, friendly, patient, gentle, warm, caring, affectionate, and a sincere person with a sense of humor.Having been widowed there are many things I would like to continue doing, most of which would be no fun alone. These include traveling, taking walks, hiking, eating out, gardening, and just being with a special person again to share life. Yes I am 81, but look, act, and think as though I were younger.Since I retired I have worked for a non-profit organization for 5 years. I have done a fair amount of traveling including the D-Day beaches, my great-grandfather's village in Germany, about 18 Elderhostels in various parts of the country doing a large variety of activities. I have traveled to many of the National Parks in this country and some in Canada. So much of this was so enjoyable I would do it again.At home I read, use the computer, garden, volunteer at the library, and do other projects around the house. I have done some work in genealogy but have some organizing and research yet to do.I look forward to hearing from someone who has like interests.
