I am fairly recently out of a 25 years committed relationship, and finding life, sidelined by society, as a single female very boring. I retired regretfully some years ago, but enjoy voluntary work (though, honestly only because it IS work), and really would like to do the one thing that older retirees look forward to - overseas travel, but not alone, as I get lost easily, but with someone who has similar likes as myself. I like "old stuff" so Britain holds a real fascination for me, it has always been my dream to travel to and around Britain as my family came from England, originally, on my mother's side, I think Scotland on my Dad's side. I am a dog person, but tolerate cats, unless they mess with my dog, and expect to be able to trust my partner to look after my dog.
