I consider myself just "normal" not extreme anything. People say that I'm very real. I'm non- demanding and very appreciative. I'd like my life to be greatly enhanced by someone special and hopefully I will do the same for you. Someone who will bring me closer to God, not farther away. I love to laugh and I laugh a lot. Humor & hugs are a necessity in my world. I love a great conversation, (hopefully you have many interests and experiences) and taking trips – big or small - to places I've never been, especially on a whim. Let's take the back alley and find that little cafe the locals enjoy. Who cares if we don't speak the language? Back roads are fun, and you never know who you will meet and the message you will receive.
I can "camp," ride a horse, drive a snow mobile and know how to shoot (at targets, not animals or people). That would be my "extreme" side. I love all kinds of music, wine, and travel...anywhere. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen (hopefully you enjoy cooking), dinner parties, and believe that dining by candlelight should not be reserved for special occasions. Fine dining out or a picnic in front of the fireplace. I like a bit of it all. I have a very curious nature & can always find something to research. I just want to know.
Communication and honesty mean a lot to me. If something isn't right, I want to get to the heart of it, correct it and move on. We both need to feel free to express our emotions calmly, without backlash or being dismissed. Every human has a need to be listened to. Our feelings belong to us.
I once read someone's profile that boldly stated "No Baggage!" Sorry, but everyone has some baggage. It's what you learn from the experiences in that bag that make a difference. For me, the largest pockets in my bag contain some character-building and very valuable life lessons. These lessons are what made me the person I am today. I am a better person now in oh, so many ways. I've learned that life can be short. My baggage has taught me to appreciate every moment, to be forgiving, and to appreciate you.
I grew up in Spokane and was very fortunate to have the opportunity to live all around the country, meet people from all backgrounds and cultures. I've done a lot and seen a lot. There is so much in the world to see and appreciate and I'm just not ready to sit back in a chair and watch the grass grow.
I spent 23 years in the Dallas area, and when my husband passed away, I drove myself to Vancouver to take care of my aging mom. She passed away earlier this year, and God nudged me to come back "home." He is guiding me, and exactly forty years later - to the exact day - (not planned), I moved back. And now, my life begins. I would really love to meet someone who makes a good friend and who I have a real connection with. I am looking for someone perfect for me, not someone who is perfect. I'm hoping to find the last man in my life--not just the next one. Life is meant to be shared! I'm not offering everything—just everything I have… which actually isn't so bad.
