I am a happy, down to earth woman with a young outlook on life. My friends describe me as intelligent, articulate, quick witted and having a good sense of humour. I have just taken early retirement after a career in social services and after the initial excitement of being free, I am now finding that I have too much time on my hands.I am looking for someone who would like to take a stroll barefoot on the beach, or walk through a shady woodland hand in hand enjoying good conversation and discovering that we have much in common. I enjoy good food, good wine and real ale and I am as happy attending a steam rally as I am sunbathing in the Mediterranean. I have a good sense of humour and sense of fun and would like a man who can make me laugh and not take life too seriously. I think I am capable, reliable and honest and above all genuine. I know the perfect man does not exist (with the possible exception of Brad Pitt) so I am willing to overlook the odd fault or two.My favourite places in the world are Canada and Italy but I would love to venture further afield and am open to suggestions.
