I worked hard all of my life. I am eldest of 6 children. I was the first born twin of an identical sister! That was fun growing up and dating in high school! Now there are only 4 of us living. And we don't always get along.
I have been a widow almost 15 years. My granddaughter must have been about 6 years old when she asked me a very important question. She was 4 months old when her grandpa ( my husband,) passed away after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was very serious when she looked at me and said -- MiMi -- are you ever going to get us another Grandpa?' I looked at that sweet child and to.keep from crying I laughed! I told her God would have to bring him to the door! And she replied:
Well-- you better get a door bell! We didn't get that door bell. That sweet girl just had her 15th birthday.

I have qualities I look for and expect in character of a man. He must be honest and trustworthy. Always tell the truth. Hearts are easy to break and difficult to mend. God must be a part of his life. I believe in prayer. Family is important. If he doesn't have family I have plenty to share. I am not fond of smoking. An occasional drink or glass of wine is OK by me. One more thing -- I am a lady and I expect to be treated as such. Ugly words should never be spoken within my hearing. If you made it all the way through to the end i appreciate your interest.
