I'm a laid-back girl who is more likely to be seen in flip-flops or hiking boots than heels. I am a teacher who loves children, yet have none of my own. I'm very active, am firm and fit, but have been blessed with curves so can fill out a dress. I spend my time with my dog, reading, writing, watching movies or hanging with friends. I love live music from bluegrass to opera. Spirituality is important to me, as is a positive outlook on life. And, I do not subject myself to other people's unhealthy anger or outbursts. No drama please. Emotionally healthy people only need apply :)

I'm in a transitional phase in my life right now, but not damaged. I have been blessed with the opportunity to "re-start" my life due to some unforeseen circumstances, but am embracing it! I would really like someone to share it with...

Physically, I don't really have a type. I try not to place those restrictions, but I do like tall men. I would like someone self-aware. I'm not looking for perfection here, but have dated too many men who are not able to look at themselves and examine why they do the things they do- these traits later become barriers in the relationship. I like someone laid-back, but looks great in a good suit. I like the businessman during the week, outdoorsman on the weekend type. I'm looking for positivity, open-mindedness, honesty, compassion combined with a WICKED sense of humor. Mine is a little "off," and I definitely need someone who is on my page.
