I Would Describe Myself As

I'm unapologetically Maori, proud of my whakapapa (heritage) and Whānau (family). Family means everything to me. I'm a teacher of traditional Maori weaving, that has taken across Australia, to London and Arkansas, USA. I work most weekends. I live an otherwise quiet life, in Whakatane helping to raise 4 of my grandchildren... I volunteer much of my time helping my community.

I look forward to finding a friend that could possibly turn into something more. A committed relationship free of drama would be nice.

I'm learning (trying to teach myself, really) to grow food in my backyard and spend much of my time creating Kākahu (Maori cloak making)...
