I Would Describe Myself As

I find it difficult to describe myself. I think the only way to really know a person is to be around that person for a while. However I realize that we must tell others something about ourselves to generate an interest and get the process started. Of course truthful descriptions are paramount. Untruths at this stage of a relationship can only have negative impact later. I consider myself to be an easy going laid back person who is easy to get along with. I like to joke around with a lot of dry humor. I like to go out once in a while (daily) to a fine dining restaurant such as McDonald’s or Wendy’s. I have lived in New Mexico for most of my life and think that if it’s not the best place to live it’s very very close to the top and fortunately this has always been a great secret. I am not big on a lot of outdoor activity but I do like to walk outside and go to the grandchildren’s baseball, football and soccer games. I enjoy travel, genealogy, amateur radio, reading and shooting. I am a volunteer active in three non-profit organizations. I am very loyal to my friends and family but do not have much time for those who are not included in that category. I am not handsome but as you know the saying that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” has a lot of merit. I think I am a fairly good person with internally beautiful qualities. After many years of happy marriage I think I know what is required to make it a success and this is best explained in the “golden rule”. I am interested in a mature loving female who is comfortable with herself and knows what she wants from a relationship. One I can call a friend first, then companion/partner and finally a lover. One who has the potential to develop into a serious relationship and marriage which is my ultimate goal.
