I am a 63 year old woman who lost her husband to serious illness a year ago. I am ready to rejoin life and find a new purpose and meaning and, hopefully, a new person to build a meaningful and satisfying relationship with. But I first would like to build a good friendship. I am looking for an honest, sincere, compassionate man who is a Christian and who wants to live a life pleasing to God. I enjoy reading, dining out, attending concerts, live theatre, and good movies. My family is extremely important to me, and my four beautiful grandchildren are the loves of my life; spending time and playing with them helps round out my days and brings me joy! Just getting in the car and heading out for a day of fun, some nice dinner, and lots of conversation with the one I am with. I like, for instance, going to Amish country for the day, hitting little quaint shops along the way, maybe browsing through a flea market, taking a buggy ride, having a nice home cooked Amish meal.

I first and foremost look for a man who is honest and upfront with me. I do NOT want someone who wants to play games or be secretive about his life and/or intentions. Life is too short for this kind of behavior! I enjoy a man with a good sense of humor who can laugh at himself when the occasion calls for it, someone who is sensitive and thoughtful and someone who is intelligent and can carry on a good conversation.
