I've been a widow for 7 years, and it's time to see if there's anyone with whom I can share some time. I do not plan to remarry, so move on if that's your goal. But I would love to find someone to have fun with, to travel with, too perhaps even live with. I am an independent woman, so I need someone who is also independent and likes their own space. I want someone who's open-minded, who's fun, who likes to travel. I'm not hung up on body size or appearance, but I do want someone who is a little adventurous and not afraid to be spontaneous.
Since I feel like I have nothing to lose, I need to be totally honest. I don't think we would be compatible if you are are not compatible politically. They country is very polarized. I am a proud Democrat and I have a PhD in English. I'm not an elitist, but I need someone who supports the kind of issues that I support. Again, if this scares you off, then move along.
What do I have to offer? I have three grown sons who each have a child. I think I have a good family. I am financially independent to the extent that I am about to retire. I am going to be on a little more restricted income starting soon. But I am comfortable compared to the majority of people in this country. I am a friendly and fun person. I make friends easily. I am a loyal partner. I have only been with four men in my entire life. So that's probably enough to get started. You know whether this interests you or not.
