What you see is what you get! LOL
I'm a down-to-earth lady who likes being around people of Integrity. I was raised that way with parents who were Black Angus cattle farmers. I love being in the country where it's green, vibrant, and alive. Desert? Anyone who
likes "that" can have it .. just not my cup of tea.
Yes, I wear my heart on my sleeve. Can't help it. For goodness sake, I cry at Kodak commercials when they're touching to the heartstrings! What can I say? TeeHee! Hence the reason I am very careful with what stuff goes in my eyes and ears just as the Bible warns us we should be. In other words, I don't watch Scarry, gorry movies or shows and that includes thrillers and murders. Enough of all that stuff for real in the world! Why in Heavens Name would I want to stress out more watching that stuff "pretend" on TV or at the movies?! Not me..... Cuz with my photographic memory, I end up with "flashbacks" from different scenes of different movies and always the bad or Scarry scenes! LOL. :-)
I'm a warm-hearted, caring and forgiving woman. I don't like conflict. I want nothing more than for everyone to just simply agree to "disagree" and please just get along in life! :-). I am a spiritual person with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe we are seeing signs in the world that point to His soon return. I'm a true believer in the "Golden Rule" (meaning do unto others what you would like done to you).
I'm an animal lover especially anything to do with horses. I even had my own "Paint" horse that was brown and white patches, so of course her name was "Patches"!
As a kid, I loved helping my Dad feed the baby cows big bottles of milk. I thoroughly enjoyed running all over the farmland, slipping between barbed wire fences at times.I had a ball building forts in the bales of hay in the barn and trying to climb the ever-sliding mountain of grain in the big grain room. For years thereafter, friends thought I had lost my mind when we happened to be driving near a farm or cattle yard and the smell we all know so well on a dairy permeated the air. I would be the only one NOT plugging my nose and saying just how much it made me feel like I was back home living next to the dairy.! They all thought I was a few marbles short! TeeHee! They were the ones who had missed out on such a wonderful childhood!
I have always dreamed of one day finally getting back to that way of life, having at least a mini-ranch with the few cattle, chickens, horses, a big garden and being able to can food from the garden and fruit from my own fruit trees. I can only pray that some day God will see fit to allow me that dream to become reality. If not, well then when I get to Heaven, I plan to have just that!
I love going to Rodeos or watching PBR on TV including not just bull riding but broncs, calf roping, barrel racing, etc!!
