A southern gentleman widower starting a new journey. Born in Texas, grew up in Louisiana and Alabama. After college (Univ. of Alabama) went into banking in Mobile, Alabama. Worked for several banks eventually with Bank of America in Chicago - transferred to San Francisco in 1982. Wife an I decided didn't want to raise our 2 children there and returned to Sioux Falls where her family lived. My parents and older brother all deceased. Family is very, very important. Son teaches English in Bangkok, Thailand - daughter and her family live here. Have two grandsons that I absolutely adore, spoil them rotten, then go home.

Raced sports cars 9 years - took flying lessons for awhile, volunteer for variety of community events, golf tournaments, basketball tournaments, high school/college track and field meet. Refereed college soccer until the players got to fast for me - switched to high school basketball, same darn thing happened. Now officiate from the stands. I play golf, not good, but play. My friends say I don't act or look my age.
Time to start that new journey. It will include some of the above with travel; day trips, weekenders, and several weeks every winter in a warm climate, throw in cruises and international and got it all covered. We may even dash out to the Dairy Queen on a quiet summer evening. Only thing missing from all this is YOU!
