After 14 years of caregiving for my long term partner and then my sister, I am now enjoying being free to reclaim my own life and interests. Even though I am an excellent caregiver and found it rewarding, I am not interested in providing that level of care in the future.
The Pandemic had its effect on so many of us. I am a post Covid long hauler contending with fatigue and bouts of brain fog. My first priority is focusing on my own rehabilitation.
Due to my current limitations, I am looking for someone who doesn’t mind living life in the slow lane. I am hoping to meet a kind, intelligent, interesting, open minded gentleman with a good sense of humor who likes himself and has good relations with his family. If he lives nearby I would like to have a walking partner with whom to explore the natural beauty of this area as we get to know each other. If he lives farther away and there is a connection between us, I would like to exchange emails and perhaps phone calls.
