I Would Describe Myself As

Finding the correct mate is the most important action you do in life. It is a journey that can take you onto happiness or tragedy. I am a widower after 44 years of marriage. We had good and bad times. The marriage contact was clear, and I take it seriously “till death do us part” death we parted.

My approach in this journey is two pronged. Find my correct mate and-or help women find theirs. Due diligence is so important to find a life partner, most overlook it. Google “The five love languages” by Gary Chapman. This best-selling book will teach you what a love language is. All women have a primary and secondary language. They are words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time and physical touch. You will know what your love language is and communicating it to your prospective partner will make his relationship you so much easier for him. I know because I’m not a mind reader. Or he may think he is not compatible with you. It’s a good thing to find out now than later. They only thing I would change in it would be when it refers to love language for men. The above is biblical, but you don’t have to be a Christian. The “love and respect principle” is not a new concept, quite ancient. I believe over the decades people forgot it. “The five love languages” is newer and came out of many years of research.

If you are a church goer, I would need to know your spiritual gift. It would say so much about you. It’s not a weird holy roller thing like speaking in tongues. You have “one” of 7. Gift of Prophesy (not predicting the future), Gift of Serving Others, Gift of Teaching, Gift of Encouraging, Gift of Mercy, Gift of Generosity and Gift of Leadership. Most don’t know what their spiritual gift is. I would enjoy more than anything to help you to know, no strings attached.
